Bukayo Saka has been withdrawn from the England national team squad and has returned to Arsenal for further assessment.
Saka limped off during the second half of Thursday’s humiliating defeat to Greece at Wembley and is not fit for the match in Helsinki. The winger has been ruled out of England’s Nations League game against Finland on Sunday after sustaining an injury against Greece.
Saka who has been outstanding for the Gunners will now return to Arsenal for further assessment ahead of their Premier League clash with Bournemouth next weekend.
Arsenal fans are hopeful that Bukayo Saka’s latest injury isn’t serious and that he’ll be ready to play against Bournemouth. Over the past year, Saka has left a few games early with knocks but still managed to start the next match.
Earlier this season, after limping off against Tottenham, he was back in the lineup just days later for the Bolton game. With this pattern in mind, many fans believe that his current injury may not be too bad, and he could recover in time to help Arsenal again.
