Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been withdrawn out of Ghana squad for the upcoming AFCON matches due to injury. The black stars are set to face Sudan on Thursday 10th at the Stade Chahid-Hamlaoui in the first leg and later travel to Sudan on Monday for the second leg.
Thomas Partey has made a fine start to this campaign after only playing a total of 14 Premier League games last season.
On Ghana’s Football Federation official website, a statement read: “Thomas is unable to join the Black stars due to medical issues he is currently experiencing, and his club has scheduled him for further tests in the coming days.”
Ghana national team also known as the black star they will have to play the first game without their captain.
