According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are expected to reject a £20 million offer from Real Madrid for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Real Madrid are confident they can convince the 26-year-old to join them, as his contract with Liverpool runs out at the end of the season.

Real Madrid’s manager, Carlo Ancelotti, wants to sign Alexander-Arnold now rather than wait for a free transfer in the summer, especially after Dani Carvajal, their first-choice right-back, suffered a season-ending injury.

However, the report mentions that Alexander-Arnold hasn’t shown any signs of wanting to leave Liverpool at this point.
