Arsenal will be hosting Newcastle United for the Carabao Cup semi-final round at the Emirates on Tuesday night.
Preview
The Gunners were denied three points in their last match against Brighton after it ended in a 1-1 draw but luckily the league leaders Liverpool, were also held in a 2-2 draw by Manchester United.
Newcastle have proven themselves a tough opponent for Arsenal in recent years with Arsenal winning only twice in the last six meetings with the Magpies. The Gunners are looking for more silverware to really cement Mikel Arteta’s legacy.
Arteta has only won one trophy as Arsenal manager which was FA Cup back in 2020 and sense then he hasn’t won any trophy.

Ethan Nwaneri will be absent after picking up a muscle injury in the 1-1 draw with Brighton, while Kai Havertz is doubtful once again alongside Saka and Ben White.
Arsenal line-up: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Partey, Rice, Odegaard; Martinelli, Jesus, Trossard.
Newcastle have both Fabian Schar and Bruno Guimaraes suspended, while Nick Pope, Callum Wilson, Emil Krafth and Jamaal Lascelles are all injured.
Newcastle line-up:Dubravka; Livramento, Burn, Kelly, Hall; Tonali, Willock, Joelinton; Murphy, Isak, Gordon.
