Brentford have turned down Nottingham Forest’s offer to buy Yoane Wissa and plan to keep him at least until the summer.

The club has no intention of selling any of their attacking players this month, including Kevin Schade and Bryan Mbeumo. Instead, they are focused on getting their injured players back, like defenders Aaron Hickey, Kristoffer Ajer, Ethan Pinnock, and striker Igor Thiago.

Kevin Schade has caught the attention of Borussia Dortmund and Napoli, while Bryan Mbeumo is being monitored by big clubs like Liverpool, Newcastle, and others.

Wissa has been one of Brentford’s best players this season and is now their all-time top scorer in the Premier League, overtaking Ivan Toney. He is also ranked among the top 10 strikers in the league, based on Wyscout stats. His goals-per-minute ratio is better than both Cole Palmer and Mbeumo this season.

Nottingham Forest have wanted Wissa since the summer, but their recent bid of less than £22 million was quickly rejected by Brentford.
