Eintracht Frankfurt Sporting Director Markus Krosche has revealed there’s a “high probability” that forward Omar Marmoush will leave the club.

Speaking before Frankfurt’s 2-0 win against Borussia Dortmund on Friday, Krosche confirmed they are in discussions with Manchester City, describing the transfer as a “huge opportunity” for the player. He noted that talks with City had intensified over the past two days.

Marmoush, who was left out of the matchday squad, seemed to bid farewell to Frankfurt fans after the game. The club also released a statement confirming ongoing negotiations regarding his transfer.

“We’ll see how it develops in the coming hours or days,” Krosche told broadcaster DAZN. “But there is now a very high probability that he will be leaving us.”
